A: "Yes I skiied for three years before taking up snowboarding 2 years ago and I
have not put on a pair of skis since."

expensive? T.T
A: "Yes. Boards run anywhere from $250-$700 bucks and then you gotta buy
boots, bindings, and snow clothes. If you're looking to keep your costs down try
looking on the auctions on the web for equipment or see if your local board store has used
stuff. Lift tickets can run about $40 a day. You should really rent a board to
find out if you're gonna be able to handle the bumps and bruises that are a part of
snowboarding. The first day is hell. You're gonna be in a world of pain the
next day. But if you're not a pussy you'll get your ass back out there and eventually
it'll be like making peanut butter and jelly. Good luck, and may god have mercy on
your soul."
